Whether you are ready to dive in, or want to just chat with me first, it all starts by contacting me.  I’ll send you my welcome brochure and answer any questions you might have and when you’re ready we’ll schedule a 30-minute zoom chat.

This is a great time to get comfortable with me, especially if you’re a bit nervous. Once we talk, you’ll feel way more comfortable and excited! We’ll go over any and every question you have, nothing is TMI I promise, I’ve heard it allllll! We’ll also talk style, hair & makeup, what to wear, and prints & art products.

This is not a sales session, there is zero pressure to book or buy upsells, I’m truly here to connect with you and help in any way I can to make the experience joyful and fulfilling. If we’re a good fit to work together, we’ll look at the calendar and pick a date for your session.

Your day in front of the camera! Depending on the type of session you book, your session will last 1 to 4 hours. If your session includes Hair & Makeup, we’ll ask you to arrive with clean hair and clean skin, ready for hair & makeup. You can sip some coffee or champagne, and chat with us while you get styled up, it’s a great way to settle in and relax before your session!

You’ll get to know my hair & makeup artist, she’s amazing! It’s only ever us two at the studio, and she doesn’t stay for your session. I don’t have assistants or share the space with anyone else, it’s super private.

Once we’ve picked out your first outfit and you’re feeling ready, we’ll begin with some easy poses to get started, and before you know it you’ll be right at home.

Anytime you need a little break, we’ll stop and sip some water, refresh any curls or makeup if needed, change outfits, and then carry on. If you have any specific poses in mind, be sure to bring them on your phone for reference. I never duplicate shots exactly, but it can be helpful to see the spirit or vibe of what catches your eye.

So many clients have said that sessions are easier and more fun then they expected, which makes me so happy to hear!

After your session expect to be a little hungry and tired, you are doing something new and challenging, so treat yourself kindly! It can be nice to plan a lunch or dinner since you’ll be glammed up, or just a relaxing soak in the bath to unwind and relax. You just did something amazing, celebrate!

After the photoshoot, I will download your images, choose the best ones and edit them with my signature style. I never do digital plastic surgery (you know those magazine covers? Yeah, we don’t do that!) but I will zap any blemishes that might pop up, or any scratches or bruises, any temporary things that might pop up. I edit for light and color, and and give you black and white as well as color versions.

Once your images are all edited, I’ll get in touch to schedule your reveal, typically 1-3 weeks after your session. 

* *possibly longer in busy seasons but I always keep your deadline in mind. **If you need a tighter turnaround, just ask! Next-day reveals can be arranged for a rush fee. *schedule permitting.

You’ll see your images in a slideshow, and then I’ll help you choose which ones you’d like printed, and go over any additional prints or products you’d like to add on, and then everything will get bundled up and shipped straight to you! 

I edit your best images and present all the photos that you’ll receive, so you never have to choose between them except when choosing your prints. 

Different session types come with different numbers of images, which you can see in more detail below. If you love them and want me to edit extra, you totally can. Extra hours and days of editing can be added on at any point. 

The reveal is never sales-y, it’s a celebration of you and your beautiful photos, and helping you choose how you’ll treasure and live with them, and I’m here to guide you through all of that. 

I use a professional grade printer that offers the finest quality prints and albums. They are truly lovely and I know you’re going to love them! 

I personally proof and package all your art pieces, bundle them up in my sustainable packaging and send them off to you. 

Once they ship, you’ll get a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your prints every step of the way. If you prefer to arrange a personal pick up of your products, just let me know! Pickup at the studio is free if I’m there, or I can deliver to your house, office, or  other location for a small fee, depending on the distance.
